Arizona's AlternativeAlt AZ 93.3 (KDKB) is a radio station that serves the Phoenix metropolitan area with the best selection of Alternative Rock music. In its early days that station became the first Album Oriented Rock station in Phoenix and was the home to popular shows such as the Tim & Mark morning shows with classic segments such as Rump Ranger.
The duo left the station in 2005 and the station went through a deep programming change in the following years until it finally flipped to Alternative Rock in 2014 to avoid overlaps with its sister stations KSLX and KUPD.
Nowadays, Alt AZ 93.3 daily schedule is centered on live music shows in which the station's in-house DJs showcase curated playlists with the best Alternative Rock music while providing the most relevant local news and showbiz updates, entertaining moments, and contests. The station additionally supports Alternative Rock music in Arizona through sponsored concerts and events such as the Mochella.
