Moreover, they are never going to adhere to any agreements that they make without nukes. And so Israel, even without us, cannot afford to allow them to survive. They can't let them off the mat. Just cannot happen. 06:10 Well, we all know that everyone's saying Trump's losing already, that whoever they are, the Mueller's, the IRGC, are outmaneuvering Trump. Do you agree with that? 06:21 No, no, I don't agree with that at all. These things have been war-gamed to a quantum level, every possible scenario. And so he's moving with purpose, not with the haste that people demand. And I think everyone, including the son of the Shah, is surprised that there has not been a popular uprising again. But you have to look at the purposeful execution of the three 20-somethings hanged from cranes in public the other day. 07:33 as an example to what will happen to anybody who revolts but you reach a point again look at history the the the russians in 1917 revolted because they didn't have food because they didn't have heat they had no place to live you reach a point where it doesn't matter anymore no wait so you you actually believe there's going to be an up a popular uprising in iran which will topple the irgc the last um poll that i saw that had any legitimacy said about 78 or so percent of the iranian population did not support the regime and that sounds about right um Pahlavi has been accumulating a very, very quiet list of IRGC officers and soldiers who would support an uprising. 08:29 And I believe, I have no way of proving this, that Mossad and others have been working behind the scenes to ensure that when the time is right, something will happen. But then you have idiotic actresses who live in mansions who worked for Mondami. What's that one? Nixon is her name or something? I don't even know who she is, honest to God. And by the way, that's another alignment with 1917. You go after the wealthy and the autocrats. You go after the Romanovs. You force them to flee or you put them in a room and shoot them. 10:24 Is that what's going on in New York under Mamdami? 10:27 No, but what I'm saying is that this is the prelude to that, because think about it. 10:33 And this is the thing that really is so offensive. Everyone knows who Luigi Mangione is. Do they know the name of the CEO who he killed? No, we pay no attention to those kinds of details that are important. So here you have the CEO of UnitedHealthcare who was shot in the back. 10:53 And now you've got all of these other wealthy CEOs and actors, et cetera, who have been doxed. The grocery stores in the same neighborhood, immigrant grocery stores in the same neighborhood is his low cost grocery store because he's going to put them out of business. Correct. And how is he getting these low costs? 12:45 Food, you know, the markup at a grocery store is only about one to three percent. 12:50 It's very low. 12:51 Right. So this is being subsidized by taxes, by your taxes, by their taxes. So everybody is paying for it. And hello, communism. 13:02 So who's going to get hit by it? If these past months have shown us anything, it is that socialists not only understand economics, just as well as the capitalists who came before, but that we can solve their years of mismanagement through an embrace of our principles. It's been seven months and there's not much to show for it. And again, 9-11 is going to be a flashpoint with him. 15:08 And the 25th anniversary, you've got a petition of families who do not want him to be there. 15:16 Wait, wait. 9-11 memorial coming up. 15:20 25th anniversary. 15:21 I can't believe it's that long ago. His refusal to march in the Israel Day Parade because he disapproves of Israeli policies and Netanyahu, that whole thing about threatening to arrest Netanyahu. What's going on with that? 17:38 Nothing. He doesn't have the authority to do it, and that's the end of that. 17:43 But what you would... Go on, because I have another question, comment. You're a novelist, philosopher, et cetera, and you've been around long like I have. 17:52 I tweeted the other day that I do not believe Mamdami will finish out the year 2027 in office. 18:00 And people said, what do you mean by that? 18:03 What do I mean by that, Jeff? 18:06 Uh, I don't know. I, I'm not sure I would make that statement, but I mean, I'm not sure I should have made that statement, but I did. De Blasio finished out his terms and he was certainly wildly incompetent. 18:19 Um, uh, yes, but he didn't go out of his way to tell Italians they had nothing to do with building the city. For example, let's start with that. 18:28 They eliminated little Italy from the map of New York's ethnic communities. 18:33 Immigrant communities. 18:34 Immigrant communities. No Italians and no Jews. And the Irish. 18:37 No Irish. 18:38 Right. And no Jews. So you don't think that he's not incited insanity in people who are capable of horrible things? 18:49 Well, the people who would be opposed to him are typically more sane than the radicals who think it's okay to kill people. 18:59 You know, I have heard people who should know better saying, I would love to see Trump shot dead. 19:09 God forbid. 19:10 No, the point is that there are people who are mothers in their 50s, 60s. 19:18 Who say that? Around this town. 19:23 we i would never say that uh you mean they say it with impunity like nothing nothing wrong with saying a thing look here's the challenge the challenge is not that that's that's relatively easy to do the challenge is to beat someone with better ideas and that's something that we're not doing ah come on jeff you're from another generation that's that's to the toqueville now jeff 19:47 Do you still support Trump? Alex Jones just called for his impeachment and invocation of the 25th Amendment that he's insane. 19:55 The big issue is how to stop Trump. 19:58 And we have to have Congress go for the war powers. They three times tried to vote war powers. They're supposed to authorize a war. This is a war. They're getting the draft ready of this in the war. Nothing's a war. I mean, this is absolutely out of control. And so I'm calling for it right now. 25th Amendment. impeachment, whatever needs to happen to get this front and center, to get control of our country, it's impeachable alone that the president's supporting the NDAA. 20:25 I agree with Turner Carlson that all of the people that voted for this, the mergers of the foreign military, it actually says in Section 219, clear as day, need to be in Nuremberg-style trials. One of the things I loved about Manhattan, even when I moved away and came back and visited, I would walk for hours from Midtown to my father's store, may he rest in peace, and back. Hours, and my body was in better shape on the pavement. Walking on pavement is really good exercise for your bones. Okay, number one. Things like that. You know what? I can't even walk where I live. You know why? I'm sick and tired of looking at garage doors. 29:25 There's nothing to see in the suburbs except I look at the birds and feed them and the seals and the cormorants and the beautiful things on the bay. I look at the water rather than the streets because the streets are vacuous in the suburbs. There's nothing there. Nobody's home, Jeff. 29:45 You're home. I'm not, I'm not big on walking around through nature. I mean, we've got woods, we've got water, we've got all kinds of things, but I have to say that after the heavy snows this winter, um, I found fossils on the beach when the snow is melted and that was exciting. 30:02 How did the fossils suddenly appear? 30:04 There was so much snow. It, it eroded the beach. 30:08 and it things just started showing up under the sand this was covered by ice 15 000 years ago in the ice age and it was just a miraculous thing and i started thinking okay god you showed me a reason that i should be grateful and more alert that you're living in connecticut yeah yeah stop missing what is gone and start looking at what is jeff rovin philosopher extraordinaire 30:38 I hope we do this more often. 30:39 It was, it's been quite a while and I keep thinking I should call Jeff.
