KRUA Radio is a College radio station operated and run by students at the University of Alaska Anchorage. At this station, programming content, as well as music selection, is entirely provided by students and community volunteers DJs. Due to its diverse and innovative contents, KRUA has conquered a diverse audience both locally through the airwaves and globally thanks to its online live streaming service that allows people worldwide to listen live to its programming.

KRUA lineup showcases the passions and interests of the students that operate it, with programs dealing with subjects as diverse as sports, politics, fishing, aliens, conspiracy theories, horror stories, and music shows showcasing the best local garage rock, indie, and punk acts, among many others.
