Truth 2 Ponder

Today’s program deals with two very different issues. First, the rising and often ignored threat of radical Islam in the Western World, and in part two, the fake or questionable ministers of many ministries who fleece the flock. Two different topics, but essential to understand in our time. Now, do you believe in this ministry? If you do, you can keep us on the air as a radio program and podcast by visiting our website. By the title, you might think politics, but that is not today’s topic. Over the years, ministries have, and should, adapt to meet needs to better fulfill their mission. However, some seem to “reinvent” themselves and attempt to hide their past. Why would they hide their past? Bob shares some thoughts. Now, do you believe in this ministry? In the years of doing the program, “Truth to Ponder,” it has amazed Bob how many people complain very vocally about politics and what is happening in the world but fail to ever vote. They make lame excuses that the candidates aren’t “godly enough” or moral enough. Then they get spitting mad when a man enters a girl’s bathroom. How did we get here so fast to this sick world? When Christians cease to be “Salt and Light.” Now, do you believe in this ministry? If you do, you can keep us on the air as a radio program and podcast by visiting our website. Two weeks from today are the midterm elections in the United States. The legacy fake news machinery is in full “circle-the-wagon” mode. They’re trying to convince the American people things are worse than they really are, all for political control. Whom do you trust? It better not be CNN, CBS, NBC, MSNOW, ABC, or other legacy media. Turn them off for your mental well-being. Now, do you believe in this ministry? If you do, you can keep us on the air as a radio program and podcast by visiting our website. The instructions on a bottle of shampoo state “Lather, Rinse, Repeat.” Sometimes that seems more like the explanation for many of our daily lives. We get up expecting more, then get more of the same. How do you get out of the rut? How do you stop being enraged by what you see on TV? Bob shares some important thoughts. Now, do you believe in this ministry? Bob opens the program, reminding us how the media jumps on stories to make us afraid and to control us. Bob also reminds us of the incredible number of times they are wrong but REFUSE to acknowledge their sharing of fake news and false information. It is like they are incapable of telling the truth on so many levels. Yet these are the very same people who demand we believe them for our “own good.” Bob shares the truth on today’s episode. In the cottage industry of fear porn programs, videos, and podcasts, they often sell fear. Fear of politics, fear of disaster, fear of war, and fear of the end times. Often, they have “just what you need” for every situation. Now, yes, we should be prepared for the things that happen, but don’t fall prey to those who only see you as a mark. Today, Bob welcomes back John Jacob from AmRRON to share workable solutions you can use to keep connected and be prepared. No sales pitch for “stuff!” Now, do you believe in this ministry? In three weeks, Americans go to the polls for what are called the midterm elections. Many people are simply focused on who is running for the United States House or Senate, a few governors’ races, and that’s about it. But what is “down ballot?” Who is running in your county, village, city, or town? Is there a school board election? Who are those candidates, or do you not know? You need to, and Bob explains why the down-ballot candidates may be just as important, if not more, than the top of the ballot. Now, do you believe in this ministry? There is no doubt the mainstream media has lost the trust of most Americans, Canadians, and much of the Western World. Sadly, they are so “reprobate-minded” that they are condemned to believe their own lies. They do it with a seared conscience. However, even worse are the fake conservative and even the religious news outlets whose primary purpose is less ministry or accuracy than being a well-funded institution. Bob looks at both today. A famous line comes from the 1974 movie “The Godfather Part II.” In that movie, the son of the original Godfather, from the first 1972 movie, says, “Keep your friends close. But keep your enemies closer.” There is some real truth to that line, and it may be good advice for the world we live in today. Bob explains on today’s program. Now, do you believe in this ministry? This topic is one that needs to be discussed. Some of you will understand, some may disagree, but it still needs to be covered. A lot has changed in 70 years. Our radio listening habits have changed. Television became a part of our lives, and now, like it or not, we live in an increasingly “online” dependent world. Recently, there has been a push to preserve AM radio in our American vehicles. For many reasons, car manufacturers have been pushing to eliminate AM radio in recent years. Some reasons are technical issues, but others are for new revenue streams. Will AM in the dashboard be the solution during times of emergencies? Bob shares thoughts from his 55 years in broadcasting and broadcast engineering. Now, do you believe in this ministry? Things we should trust, and the institutions we should be able to depend upon, are increasingly failing us. From Education to Politics, from corporate boardrooms to even churches, we are living in a time of Institutional Rot. If those things we should trust are compromised, how do we navigate life? A month from tomorrow, Americans go to the polls for the midterm elections. Much is at stake, but how much difference will it make in the long run? In recent weeks, Bob has talked about the many geopolitical decisions that got us to the place we are. Some decisions, thou well intentioned, never counted the cost of the actions that were taken. Others were done blindly and for other reasons than those which were told to the public. Thinking the complex problems of the world have an easy fix is not a realistic option. Being prepared is. Politicians of both parties have lost the trust of many American people. Much of today’s legacy mainstream news media has become an empty, corrupt shadow of what it once was. It is troubling that the “Fourth Estate,” once rooted in freedom of the press, now too often promotes lies, indoctrination, and distorted truth. Many cable, satellite, and streaming channels have also abandoned the standards of legitimate journalism. Although there are many conservative outlets and podcasts, some of them are questionable because they have become little more than platforms for paid advertising and merchandising. Alternative media on both the left and the right are often compromised. That is why this program still struggles to stay alive, to be a light in an increasingly darkening world. Looking back over the past 25 years, what did America’s War on Terror actually give us? More peace and stability on the earth? Not hardly. The wars in Iraq from 2002 until 2021 cost the lives of nearly 6000 Americans, and for what? What did the Western World gain from the billions, if not trillions, of dollars spent? Not much of anything but more unrest for decades and profits for the “Military Industrial Complex.” While true Islam is a real threat, and has been for 1400+ years, our politically motivated actions these past decades have not changed anything. Today, Bob continues a train of thought about what these past 25 years have given us and challenges some of the conventional wisdom and established narratives. Now, do you believe in this ministry? George W. Bush, the 43rd President of the United States from January 2001 until January 2009 (the beginning of the Obama years), was honestly a mixed bag for the United States. Under the banner of “Compassionate Conservative,” the United States embarked on a journey of expensive nation (re)building, but at what cost? Did we understand what we were truly facing then? Do we really understand the world we are facing now? Bob looks back and then starts a journey to look ahead. Now, do you believe in this ministry? In recent years, there has been a change in the mindset of many people on a few important topics. The purpose of this radio program and podcast is NOT to amplify the noise of conspiracy theories that cannot be proven or to share unfounded opinions with no merit. While some things may prove to be true in time, many others prove to be false. It is better to hold fast to what is true than what may be nothing but speculation. One of the “touchiest” topics today involves the Middle East. Much of what is out there in regard to Israel, Palestine, and the Middle East has little to no basis in history or the Bible. There are extreme positions on both sides of this issue, which are both equally incorrect. So what is true? What is trustworthy? The answer to that question can be found conclusively in the Bible. Our opinions do NOT matter, only what God’s Word has to say. Today, Bob shares an outstanding message from the Reverend Brett Murphy, the pastor of a very biblically sound Anglican Church which is NOT a part of…

As Bob continues his convalescence after surgery, we share a special edition of Truth to Ponder. In the weeks prior to surgery, Bob worked to have a sufficient number of radio programs recorded to allow for full healing. Some of these programs feature a guest host or speaker, as does today’s. On this edition, Bob welcomes Dan Vierno to the “Truth to Ponder” audience as he reminds us that persecution is now coming sooner rather than later. Be ready. Be vigilant. Be prepared. If the lights went out, your phone had no service, and the Internet was down, how would you communicate? How would you get news and information? In a major disaster of political disruption, all normal communications could be censored, limited, or gone. Even radio stations, including shortwave stations, could very likely be off the air. Today, Bob welcomes a special guest who heads up an incredible organization called AmRRON. Founded in 2011, the American Redoubt Radio Operators Network (AmRRON) began as a radio communications network to share information and coordinate in response to disasters in the Pacific Northwest. By 2013, members joined from over half of the other states in the US. The American Preparedness Radio Network (TAPRN) on the East Coast merged with AmRRON in 2013. By 2014, AmRRON/TAPRN consisted of members from every state, and now consists of members in Canada, Puerto Rico, South Africa, Japan, and elsewhere. Over the past decade, AmRRON has responded to numerous real-world disasters,…

Depending on when you hear this podcast, Bob will have already undergone a very intense and lengthy surgery, or maybe be in the recovery room, ICU, or his hospital room. The surgery was scheduled for early Friday morning, the 18th of September, then afterwards a substantial period of recovery. For many, surgery brings fear, just like the pandemic did over 6 years ago. However, for those of us of faith, this should just be another day of trust. Bob explains and brings back a memory from over 6 years ago. This may just be the program you, or someone you know and love, need to hear. While violent Jihad (Holy War) has been exalted in the Quran, there is a new type of Jihad taking place in the Western World. Rather than just attacking armies or committing acts of terror, the new Jihad uses open borders and gradually takes over communities and towns in their “host” countries. These new types of “invaders” never attempt to assimilate and stay separate. They get into politics and eventually control the ballot box in those regions. Now, do you believe in this ministry? On the one hand, our leader’s clamor for more ways to surveil us, control us, and even weaken us but they fail to protect us. The greatest threats are ignored, minimized, or excuses are given. Surveillance can show us a video of a killer with a mile-long arrest sheet, released multiple times by as judge, kill someone on a commuter train, but the camera of all the prior arrests did not stop the crime. Islam has attempted to conquer and enslave the world, but our leaders are deaf to the threat and call us Islamophobic. A phobia implies having a false fear. Nothing could be farther from the truth. For many, the events of September 11, 2001, have become a distant memory. Young people are no longer taught about or care about that part of history. For decades, crazy tabloids dominated the checkout lines of many grocery stores with bizarre headlines, grainy pictures of the unbelievable, and fake stories for the weak-minded. While many of those publications are gone, the addiction for the news nobody else has now lives on in the podcast, online video, social media, and even shortwave radio world. Bob sorts it out. Where is your hope? In a politician, a leader, or is it in something far greater and eternal? Over the past generation, we have seen politics increasingly influence what should be matters of faith. It happened to both the left and the right. The left has embraced things that are forbidden in scripture and has taken down entire church bodies. The right often believes their politics is ordained by God, and they are blinded when their conservative news sources and politicians fail to measure up. Bob shares some sobering thoughts. It dawned on your host, Bob Biermann, the other night that many of the news stories on both the left and the right, from the mainstream media to the new alternate media is often “low-hanging fruit” and “rage” stories. These political stories dominate the news cycle day in and day out. What good is an overload of rage stories and politics? As we begin our 7th year, it is time to remind us of how we got to where we all are today, and how God has guided and protected this program from what has damaged the credibility of the many other programs. It seems that these podcasts, videos, and even some radio programs came out of nowhere over the past couple of years but, because of being too sensational and often incorrect, have started causing many in their audience to now seek real truth. You may not recognize it, but 1996 was a very pivotal year for the world at large. Computers came of age, the internet was taking shape, satellite TV started to grow, and a major change in the Telecommunications Act changed radio, television, and cable in a dramatic way. Last week, an American woman who converted to Islam 5 years ago walked into Home Depot wearing a full burka, goggles, and gloves and self-checked out a cart full of nails and materials for making a bomb. She intended to kill or injure legislators at the Statehouse in Albany, NY. How could this woman, a registered Democrat, fall for the Islamic lie? How could nobody notice such bizarre behavior? In some parts of the northern hemisphere, many people are beginning to feel the upcoming change of seasons. The nighttime temperatures are beginning to cool, the days are beginning to get a bit shorter, and there is a new feeling in the air. We live in a time that was unimaginable just 25 years ago. Men having babies, women becoming men, the definition of woman is fluid, and common sense is gone. Since the 7th Century, the core roots of Islam have been to conquer the world in the name of Islam. Islam is far more than a religion; it is a total interweaving of religion, government, and family. It is a religious cult which demands full adherence to ever be found worthy to reach paradise. It totally dominates every aspect of community and life. Yet for some reason, it has become the “accepted” religion of the godless left? Why is that? Now, do you believe in this ministry? When somebody mentions the words demon or anything demonic, how many of you think back to the classic 1973 movie, “The Exorcist.” While many people dismiss the movie as just pure Hollywood, there is much truth about this realm of demons we need to fully understand to make sense of this world today. Intellectual honesty demands facing the truth. There was a time when talk radio was a dominant force in swaying public opinion. The truth is those numbers are beginning to slide. Even shortwave radio had a huge impact on the world, but today in 2026, it is increasingly a diminishing and declining asset. Like it or not, the world has moved to podcasts and streaming, and those trends will only continue to accelerate. If you want to reach where the people are, you must make your claim in that medium. And with upwards of 200-million Americans listening to at least one podcast per week, who are they hearing? How to we get this message to them? Now, do you believe in this ministry? From the mainstream media, the medical community, and much of government, our collective trust was destroyed in recent years by lies, coverups, a lack of holding the criminals accountable, and the systematic encroachment on our God-given liberties. Is that trust forever broken? Can it ever be restored? Can new political leadership fix these problems? Bob gives a truthful insight on that and more on today’s episode. Every day, many of us look at the news from our favorite sources. However, it seems the stories are just recycled. The same divisions, the same politics, the same lack of justice, the same bizarre behaviors being normalized, the same political divisions, and the same never-ending establishment control and diminishing freedoms. Is it worth reporting? And without an analysis, what is a story worth? Now, do you believe in this ministry? Whether the issue is gay rights or affirming gender choices, the pathway to forced compliance and acceptance has been the same. Just like a subtle takeover of a nation, it is done slowly, methodically, and incrementally. Over time, new generations fully embrace the new normal and much of the older generation ceases to even care or fight. The same is true within the faith. Churches have permitted “sin in the camp,” and now have been destroyed from within. The great falling away is here, and God’s judgment can’t be far behind. Now, do you believe in this ministry? Far too many people are not well-versed in history or theology to understand that they are falling for some very big lies. It has been said that the bigger the lie, the easier it is to get the masses to believe, or at least want to believe, the lie. Today’s new political and religious alliances prove the big lie may be winning in the Western world. Now, do you believe in this ministry? Earlier this year, the United States embarked on a plan to stop Iran from ever having a nuclear weapon, plus military hopes of ending the reign of terror the demonic government has had on its people and through its terror proxies, much of the western world. Now, the 6-week war is 6 months with no end in sight. Was there a miscalculation? Bob explains that when dealing with something biblical in nature, man’s wisdom alone is not enough. There is more than meets the eye. Now, do you believe in this ministry? If you do, you can keep us on the air as a radio program and podcast by visiting our website. There is a divide between many well-meaning people regarding technology. Many shun all new technologies in fear of being spied upon; others embrace it for its potential in reaching far more people, and another group holds on to aging technology with the false hope it will be our salvation when things fail. Bob shares his thoughts on tech, the cottage industry of the news (which is now nothing more than a marketing platform), and how we should use all the tools we have. Between the Fauci Senate hearings, the wars in Ukraine and Iran, and the “do-nothing” Congress here in the United States, what have we learned? Since January of 2025, who has been arrested for the horrible things of the past decade? What phony politicians have been removed from office? Has our nation gotten any better? You know the answer if you’re intellectually honest. Nothing happens, and life goes on as before. On the second half of the program, Bob makes a major announcement you need to hear.
