Different is Good.WCLZ is a radio station broadcasting an Adult alternative format to Portland and surrounding areas in Maine. It is owned by Saga Communications.
Its weekly schedule features live shows in which the station's DJs offer a selection of the best classic and current alternative music and entertaining segments with contests. Music shows take up most of the station's lineup, with programming dedicated to specific music genres such as Jazz, World Music, acoustic covers among others, and music countdowns.
WCLZ and its staff are active supporters of the protection of the environment, launching several events and campaigns within the community and on-air to encourage climate change awareness. It is currently the only Carbon Neutral radio station in Maine.
WCLZ also live streams worldwide, without geographical limitations, allowing people anywhere to listen live to its programming and curated music selection.
