Julius Komorowski, Advocate, discusses the recent judgment of Mr Justice Mann awarding Cliff Richard £210,000 in damages against the BBC, for their publicity of a criminal investigation concerning him, in respect of which he was later exonerated. Julius discusses whether the judgment has any implications for publicising criminal investigations in circumstances where this might lead to other potential victims coming forward to the police.
