WLS is a talk radio station owned by Cumulus Media. It broadcasts to the Chicago metropolitan area using the frequency 890 AM and provides the possibility to listen live to its broadcast anywhere in the world via online live streaming.

Its line-up combines popular syndicated talk shows with original content, namely, talk shows analyzing current affairs from the point of view of Chicago's residents and local news reports that include weather and traffic updates. Its local news team includes well-known and respectable anchors and reporters such as Laura Cohn, Nick Gale, Bill Cameron and John Dempsey.

Despite the departure of renowned personalities from the station, like Steve Dahl, Catherine Johns and Fred Winston, WLS remains one of the most popular radio stations in Chicago.
