Montgomery's Most Country Guaranteed!WBAM, also known by the commercial branding Bama Country 98.9, is a Bluewater Broadcasting Company, LLC radio station that serves the Montgomery metropolitan area. It broadcasts using the frequency 98.9 FM and live streams worldwide through the internet.
It has a Country format, playing mainstream country hits throughout the day in its various music shows. Artists such as Keith Urban, Taylor Swift or Carrie Underwood feature regularly in its broadcast. In its line-up, it also includes music shows dedicated to Country classics as well as live entertainment shows, contests, and news reports with the most important local, national and international news developments.
Launched in 2004, the station put up a series of birthday concerts in the following three years featuring several prominent Country music artists of nowadays, which helped cement its popularity among the Montgomery community.
